Our Story

First planted over 80 years ago on a hillside, Gully & Grove is made up of 300 chestnut trees, young and old.

We handpick each and every chestnut ourselves. It takes time, but that’s how we can promise the best quality products from our farm to your plate. Purtons Pride, Buffalo Queen, Spanish Red - every variety we grow is bursting with flavour.

Some day we’ll make chestnut jam and mill chestnut flour. But right now, we’re proud to offer fresh and delicious chestnuts in all their natural glory.

Most of all, we want to expand people’s palates and prove that chestnuts are the healthiest, most versatile nuts around.

In 2023, we will only be selling our chestnuts through wholesale markets, so head on down to your local fruit stores to grab the best chestnuts.
